Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
8 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis, or a PhD degree with 3 years of experience.
Preferred qualifications
Experience collaborating with Engineers, Product Managers (especially on product-centric insights).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000‑$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
Responsibilities
Drive product improvements at Google Photos by collaborating with engineers and product managers to drive product decisions.
Develop an understanding of the Google Photos product, data and users to address vague and business problems and hypotheses and come up with solutions that improve product and user experience.
Focus on the Engagement side of the business, ensuring users enjoy features enough to be retained long-term while expanding the scope of features and scaling the team.
