Your role in helping us shape the future: U.S. News empowers everyone to thrive. As a Revenue Operations Lead, you will work closely with a cross-functional team to optimize our sales and marketing processes. You will support the sales leaders across the company as it relates to revenue reporting and identifying opportunities for revenue growth. Reporting to the SVP of Sales and Marketing Strategy, you will build strong, collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders, including sales, marketing, product, engineering, and C-level executives at U.S. News.

Are you up to the challenge?

Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of our CRM, while optimizing U.S. News' schema and processes. Lead configuration, releases, system maintenance and documentation. Drive our CRM initiatives across the company

Lead the end-to-end migration of new business units into the CRM, in partnership with technology, sales, and marketing teams.

Ensure data accuracy in the CRM. Define and monitor data standards and naming conventions, and coach the sales team on data hygiene best practices.

Create comprehensive sales reports and dashboards to provide sales leaders with actionable insights into sales and revenue performance.

Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and gather feedback, enabling the design, documentation, and continuous improvement of pipeline and revenue reporting.

Develop thorough documentation and deliver training programs on best practices and workflows for optimal CRM usage.

Serve as the subject matter expert on all CRM-related matters, assisting the sales and customer success teams with questions, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and encouraging CRM adoption to drive revenue growth and better support the business.

You should definitely have:

Minimum of 3 years of experience maintaining and optimizing CRM systems.

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.

Strong analytical skills and comfort with statistical methods for evaluating success, demonstrated by a track record within one or more business units.

Excellent communication skills and proven ability to manage stakeholders across diverse business units, including sales, marketing, product, and engineering.

It would be nice if you had:

Experience working within high-performing sales organizations.

Experience with Zoho.

Experience with SQL.

Preference for New York based applicants to work a hybrid schedule in the office. Will also consider Washington D.C. applicants to work a hybrid schedule in the office and remote applicants.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $75,000 - $110,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, interview performance, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
