Position Details Position: Wellness Nurse Manager – Full‑time
Location: Cedar Falls, Iowa
Sign‑on Bonus: $7,500
Hourly Pay: $32.00–$35.00 per hour.
Shift Schedule: Week 1 – Thursday, Saturday, Sunday; Week 2 – Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7 am–7 pm. Weekend on‑call: One Saturday or Sunday shift per month.
Responsibilities
Supervise the wellness department in the absence of department heads, ensuring quick, reliable, and person‑centered care is provided to residents.
Serve as a force on the floor by setting a good example: be available to help with call lights, requests for assistance from the team, and demonstrate urgency that puts resident needs first.
Document diligently: complete resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents accurately and efficiently, and file them correctly.
Provide compassionate care: exhibit the core values at the heart of Arrow, ensuring each interaction with a resident is professional, caring, and ends with the resident feeling safe and cared for.
Qualifications
Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of employment.
Direct (hands‑on) nursing care experience, including medication passes as needed.
Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
Comprehensive knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
Knowledge of requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to residents.
Experience with memory‑impaired residents preferred, but not required.
Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) preferred, but not required.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude with a love for residents.
Active; role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to lift or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two‑person transfers.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
Criminally cleared.
