Marketing Analyst / Digital Marketing Analyst / Marketing and Web Analyst

Job Summary The Marketing Analyst is customer-facing and focuses on expanding customer acquisition and engagement capabilities for ARGO’s Connects product suite in the Financial Services industry. The role ensures ongoing market competitiveness and solution delivery readiness to Argo’s Financial Services customers, enhancing customer experience throughout the journey.

Expected Work and Performance 1. Marketing Plans

Have an in-depth understanding of customer journey stages, especially earlier engagement in Awareness and Consideration phases.

Create best practice methods and specific customer engagement campaign models based on scientifically proven engagement methods.

Plan, develop, and monitor digital (email and SMS) campaign performance and channel tracking.

Translate requirements into technical specifications for development, data, and reporting teams, and convert technical approaches into digestible insights.

2. Client (Customer) Engagement

Define, design, and communicate storyline and demonstration of value proposition to customers.

Create best‑practice templates to facilitate rapid customer implementation.

Define and design campaigns for each stage of the customer journey—from prospect nurturing through awareness, influencing conversion, onboarding, soliciting feedback, customer management, retention, and relationship expansion—automated or staff‑led.

Recommend campaign optimizations to reduce customer friction and increase engagement.

Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data such as surveys, questionnaires, focus groups, and opinion polls; interpret and present actionable findings to clients.

Serve as the voice of our customers, understanding their needs and communicating them to Argo and client teams.

3. Marketing Research

Research and recommend marketing constructs that benefit both Argo and the client (market relevance, segment, etc.).

Conduct competitive research, analyze benchmarking data, and provide value‑add recommendations.

Analyze current targeting strategies to identify new opportunities for media optimization, including A/B testing.

Research effectiveness of content types for Awareness and Consideration (video, text, pictures, infographics).

Research, recommend, and obtain digital marketing certifications for staff to increase value proposition.

4. Marketing Automation

Oversee marketing automation strategy, including customer journey framework, CDP, segmentation, content creation, targeting, and list management.

Define marketing processes around single and multi‑functional campaigns across multiple channels, including A/B testing.

Create and document best practices for customer‑delivered content (Email, SMS) with compelling call‑to‑action.

Ensure marketing automation tools are intuitive and easy to use.

Research and document plans for integration with third‑party advertising such as Google.

Research LinkedIn relevance and potential integration into Argo solutions.

Research social media platform relevance; document integration possibilities.

5. Performance Results – Reporting and Analysis

Evaluate target demographics, distribution channels, and marketing outlets.

Interpret performance results using data‑science models and draw conclusions.

Measure and report on ROI and effectiveness of marketing channels, methods, and campaigns.

Collect and analyze customer preference data to identify market potential.

Understand online user behavior and the effectiveness of the sales funnel.

Communicate reporting on marketing KPIs (leads, conversion rates, traffic, engagement) and trends.

Measure NPS and satisfaction findings across customer segments.

Qualifications

5+ years of marketing experience with a minimum of 3+ years of digital marketing experience in sales campaign execution, online commerce, or survey tools.

Experience in Financial Services preferred.

Experience with direct‑to‑consumer marketing across digital and retail channels, managing acquisition, relationship, and retention.

Knowledge of consumer buying psychology.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Market Research, Business Administration, or similar.

Willingness to travel to customer sites or industry events up to 15% of the time.

Required Skills / Experience / Knowledge

Marketing campaign execution.

Customer Journey Mapping and experience optimization.

Customer survey and measurement programs, including Voice of Customer NPS.

Data visualization tools.

Knowledge of common CRM programs such as SalesForce.

Additional Competencies

Working knowledge of search engines, web analytics, and business research tools.

Strong communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels.

Analytical skill to convert data into consumable formats with strong quantitative and critical thinking.

High IT automation literacy: understanding of technology concepts, system usage, data storage, and KPI interpretation.

Attendance / Work Location The position is based at our Richardson, TX Headquarters. Daily on‑site presence in the office is required for collaboration and meetings.

Physical Demands Regular standing, walking, sitting, and computer keyboarding. Ability to travel overnight, including occasional weekends.
