Panelmatic is seeking a detail-oriented experienced Mechanical Engineer. The Mechanical Engineer will create/review models and BOMs for power distribution equipment including Metal-Clad Switchgear, Metal-Closed Switchgear and Panelboards. Job Duties

Review electrical diagrams and requirements from electrical engineering Convert electrical drawings into a mechanical package including elevations, section views and bill of materials Provide electrical engineering with mechanical components of drawing package Release bill of material for purchasing and fabrication Receive new product designs, product modifications and implement the new designs/changes into production engineering systems Provide support to manufacturing regarding project questions and issues Interact with electrical engineering and project management as required Communicate job status, including possible issues, with supervisor 1-3 years\' experience in sheet metal design, with a preference for medium voltage switchgear design or UL891 switchboard BS in Mechanical Engineering degree required Knowledge of the typical mechanical design principles Experience in creating 3D renderings and side views based on single line and elevation drawings Familiarity with ANSI, ASME, NEC and UL standards AutoCAD and SolidWorks experience preferred Strong organizational and time management skills required Ability to work in a multi-project multitask environment with changing priorities required Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills required Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required US work authorization without sponsorship required Growth mindset with the ability to accept challenges required Benefits
