NORTON COMMUNITY MEDICAL ASSOCIATES , the primary care practice arm of Norton Medical Group, is recruiting for primary care physicians to join its team of over400medical providers specializing in family medicine, internal medicine, internal medicine/pediatrics and urgent care.
From urban to rural locations, large to small practices, and population mixes of all types, our Norton Community Medical Associates adult primary care practices offer you an opportunity to practice primary care in a setting that fits your career goals while always being connected to the area’s leading health care provider, Norton Healthcare. We haveover 40 locationsthroughout Greater Louisville, including practices in Southern Indiana and surrounding communities.
Norton Medical Group, a part of Norton Healthcare in Louisville, Kentucky, continues to expand to meet the health care needs of residents in Greater Louisville. By far the largest network of employed medical providers in the area, Norton Medical Group operates a highly successful employment model that provides for the business operation of its practices, allowing physicians to focus on quality care for patients.
About the positions
Residents: $60,000 sign‑on bonus, $100,000 recruitment incentives; Experienced: $60,000 retention bonus
Full‑time schedules of four days a week or part‑time in outpatient‑only setting
Hospitalist coverage for patients is available through more than 90 physicians and more than 30 advanced practice employed providers
Continuing medical education (CME) opportunities within Norton Healthcare and funds available for additional CME
Norton Medical Group provides support staff in each office with a multifunctional team, led by a practice manager, to handle day‑to‑day operations, including billing, coding, recruiting, information services and more, allowing physicians to focus on patient care
Recognized by National Committee for Quality Assurance as a Patient‑Centered Medical Home
Requirements for the positions
Medical degree/diploma
Residency/fellowship certification
Kentucky medical license or license eligible
