Senior Pricing Analyst

Overview The Senior Pricing Analyst plays a critical role in developing, analyzing, and presenting cost and pricing strategies for federal government proposals. This position supports high-visibility bids and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing is competitive, compliant, and aligned with company goals.
Security Requirement The ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance is required.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and analyze pricing models for prime contracts, subcontracts, task orders, and modifications
Collaborate with team to define Price to Win targets and competitive positioning
Interpret and respond to RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitation documents
Prepare cost volumes, pricing narratives, and basis of estimates (BOEs)
Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and company estimating systems
Coordinate with proposal managers, finance, contracts, and technical teams
Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decisions
Support DCAA audits and forward pricing rate submissions
Maintain pricing tools, templates, and historical data for benchmarking
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
8+ years of experience in federal government pricing and proposal development
Strong understanding of contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M) and pricing strategies
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost modeling tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple proposals under tight deadlines
Familiarity with DCAA audit processes
Knowledge of indirect rate structures and cost allocation methods
Ability to write persuasive and compliant cost narratives
Experience in Price to Win methods and competitive assessments
