Job Location: 21st Street Campus - SANTA MONICA, CA Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $75000.00 - $127000.00 Essential Job Functions
Develop, plan and implement engaging lessons, assignments, and instructional materials. Establishes clear learning objectives based on student needs, curriculum frameworks, and an understanding of human growth and development. Designs, administers, and evaluates assessments to monitor student progress and maintain accurate records. Maintains a structured and supportive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and achievement while ensuring safety. Engages in regular communication with parents and students to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement, arranging conferences as needed. Oversees the appropriate use and maintenance of instructional materials, textbooks, equipment, and classroom facilities. Work collaboratively with the Science teaching team while also demonstrating the ability to work independently. Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Education: BS or BA in a Scientific Field required, MA preferred Years of Experience: 3+ MS years preferred Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive and professional relationships with students, parents, staff, and faculty. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in integrating technology into the classroom to enhance student learning. Outdoors experience, especially outdoor education, strongly preferred
