Danbury and New Milford Hospitals are seeking an academically-oriented Hematologist (both classical and malignant hematology). This position will focus on treating patients with hematologic malignancies and oversee evaluation of treatment for patients with classical hematology conditions, with advanced practitioner support. The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in hematology and have post-fellowship experience and/or hematology focused training. Flexibility to split time between Danbury and New Milford sites. A $50,000 sign‑on bonus/retention package plus relocation allowance is available for full‑time candidates.
Our Cancer Institute is growing rapidly, expanding its clinical trial portfolio and positioning itself as a destination cancer program in the region. The Institute is accredited by The American College of Surgeons as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program and offers opportunities to pursue research and clinical trials.
Built upon a rich history since 1885, Danbury Hospital is a not‑for‑profit community hospital with 371 beds and a Level II Trauma Center. It serves approximately 70,000 ED visits per year and is affiliated with multiple medical schools.
Base Compensation:
$475,000 – $562,000 per year, relative to experience.
Sign‑on bonus:
$50,000 plus relocation allowance.
