The Data Analyst I supports the HR Information Systems (HRIS) department by maintaining, analyzing, and reporting human capital data to inform business decisions. This role ensures data integrity, assists with standard reporting, and supports HR process optimization across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

Collect, validate, and maintain HR data from SuccessFactors and other HR systems.

Generate standard and ad-hoc reports to support HR operations and compliance needs.

Assist in data audits to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.

Support HR teams with data-driven insights on workforce metrics (turnover, headcount, demographics, etc.).

Use Power BI and Excel to create visualizations and dashboards for HR partners.

Partner with HRIS team members to document and streamline reporting processes.

Must Have Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of relevant exempt experience.

US Citizenship required for this position.

One of the following may be used as an equivalent to Bachelor's Degree for Information Technology Related Positions Only:

Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience

Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience

High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience

High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience

A relevant professional certification can be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Nice to Have

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, PowerQuery, complex formulas).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Hands-on, self-starter who is capable and willing to learn and grow with the business.

Detail and results oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and under short turnaround times.

Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other HRIS platforms.

Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).

Basic understanding of HR processes (recruiting, compensation, employee lifecycle).
