Facility:
This is an outpatient rehabilitation facility located across the street from the main hospital. The practice features a supportive environment with a small, collaborative team including PM&R doctors and a nearby neurology practice that provides additional resources when needed.
Opportunity:
Board Certified/Eligible - Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Job Details:
• 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday) schedule, 8-5 or flexible hours
• Bridge coverage position while facility sources a permanent provider
• Small practice replacing one full-time provider (working alongside one 0.5 FTE provider)
• Established patient base with 8-15 patient encounters per shift
• Typical appointments: 1 hour for new patients, 30-45 minutes for follow-ups, 90 minutes for procedures
• Must work well with a small team - this is critically important
• Common procedures include Botox for post-stroke patients and typical rehab/follow-up
• Most patients transition from inpatient rehab to this outpatient facility
• Robust support system with 5 PM&R doctors available as resources
• Neurology practice located across the hall for additional support
• Required skills: traction/immobilization devices, diagnostic/therapeutic taps, arthrocentesis
• Pain management skills needed (acute and chronic, excluding injections)
• Experience with various injections including joint, trigger point, blocks, epidural, facet, and fluoro-guided
• Proficiency in EMG, nerve conduction studies, and wound debridement
• Must maintain BLS certification
• Must have clean background and malpractice history for timely temporary privileges
• Active Washington license or IMLC required
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
