VP of Strategic Partnerships
to join our team! The VP of Strategic Partnerships is a senior role responsible for aggressively expanding LaunchCode’s enterprise client base and maximizing revenue growth. This role demands a proven closer who can rapidly identify, pursue, and secure high-value partnerships with companies seeking skilled technical talent.
This is a player-coach role. You will personally drive deals from prospecting through close, maintaining an active pipeline. This position requires relentless execution, deal acceleration expertise, and the ability to expand LaunchCode’s market reach through rapid partnership acquisition.
Specifics
Full-Time Salaried Position Reports to the CEO Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 Fully Remote
Role Responsibilities
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets Activate new and dormant accounts to generate and qualify new business opportunities, maintaining a robust sales pipeline for placing candidates into roles at company partners Expand active accounts by being a strategic partner to clients Prospect, identify, and develop relationships with decision-makers at companies Generate qualified leads through cold outreach, warm introductions, and strategic networking initiatives Accelerate existing opportunities by identifying expansion possibilities within current client accounts Identify and capitalize on market trends to expand LaunchCode’s client portfolio Collaborate closely with Account Managers, who handle ongoing client relationships, and Sourcing Managers, who match candidates to opportunities Track and report on sales activities, pipeline development, and conversion metrics Mentor and develop Account Executives within the organization.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in sales, business development, and/or account management, preferably in the staffing/recruiting or technology sectors Experience negotiating and driving sales with senior management in large organizations A history and strong desire to search for, qualify, nurture, and close deals Proven track record of managing and growing a book of business exceeding $2M in net earned revenue
Nice to haves
Experience with technical talent development, including the ability to engage deeply with technical hiring managers Passion for data-driven decisions Proficiency with CRM and sales tools (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce)
