In This Exciting Role, You Will
Partner with product, engineering, user research, and design teams to drive strategic discovery and champion best practices in UX process. Influence product strategy by representing the voice of the user, sharing designs early and often, and incorporating feedback to refine solutions. Lead design efforts on complex cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with the overall product vision. Establish and maintain consistent design patterns through the design system, creating a cohesive user experience across various business areas. Provide creative direction and conduct design reviews to ensure high-quality design execution. Mentor junior design staff, sharing your expertise and fostering team growth. Drive innovation by exploring the potential of AI and emerging technologies to enhance user experiences. Champion user-centered design principles and advocate for usability best practices across the organization.
Must-Have Qualifications
A digital portfolio showcasing your design work. Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of professional experience in UX strategy, demonstrating a high bar for quality and meticulous attention to detail. Strong foundation in AI, Natural Language, and Machine Learning concepts. Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team environment. Track record of successfully influencing senior management and building consensus around design ideas and processes. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into user-friendly designs. Deep understanding of design systems, including principles, components, and patterns, as both a consumer and contributor. Ability to make strategic, user-centered design decisions while remaining adaptable to changing needs and requirements.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Mastery in at least two of the following disciplines and expertise in two others: visual design, UX design, prototyping, front-end development, user research, and/or experiment design.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $73.05 to $81.17 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
