$80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from VanderHouwen Finance Director (Onsite – 4x10 Schedule) Are you a hands-on financial leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, takes full ownership of your work, and can confidently lead both day-to-day accounting operations and long-term financial strategy? Our client is seeking a Finance Director who combines technical expertise with sharp organizational instincts and the initiative to navigate change independently. Location and Hours: Onsite in McMinnville, Oregon. Key Responsibilities: Lead the accounting department, overseeing GL, fund management, AP/AR, payroll, and utility billing. Oversee budgeting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and monthly financial statements. Manage annual audits, ensure contract and grant compliance, and meet all reporting requirements. Supervise office staff and front counter operations with a focus on service and efficiency. Recommend improvements to the chart of accounts, document internal controls, and modernize financial systems. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience, including full-cycle accounting and team leadership. ERP system proficiency and intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Demonstrated success managing audits, complex reconciliations, and cash flow analysis. Preferred:
