Job Description
We are seeking an
Enterprise Architect (Integrations)
to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions connecting clinical, business, and laboratory systems. This role is vital in modernizing NMDP’s technology landscape to support life-saving transplants. Key Responsibilities Develop and align the enterprise technology roadmap with organizational goals. Collaborate with business and IT leaders to support long-term strategic vision. Design enterprise integration patterns and reference architectures. Lead the full API lifecycle, including design, development, and monitoring. Ensure integrations meet data standards, security, and compliance requirements. Guide development teams on best practices for API management and data transformation. Stay current with industry trends and identify opportunities for process improvements. Qualifications Required Skills and Experience Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman). Experience with integration platforms like MuleSoft, WSO2, or Boomi. Strong understanding of healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, and protocols like SOAP and REST. 10+ years of IT architecture experience, including 6+ years in Integration Architecture. Leadership experience in complex integration projects. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle, Microsoft Azure, or AWS. Backend development skills (Java or JVM-based languages). Certifications like TOGAF or SAFe Agile. Industry experience in Healthcare or Life Sciences.
