Deloitte Tax LLP seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer, Manager in Seattle, Washington. Work Youll Do Participate in scrum daily status and project status calls to obtain accurate updates on deliverable timelines and status and ensure QA activities are aligned with sprint goals. Review feature requirements and assist in identifying requirement enhancements to improve product efficiency. Collaborate with SMEs, Business Analysts, and application developers to ensure a shared understanding of the business model and the detailed function requirements. Ensure the quality and low bug rates of code released into production. Design test plans in a manner that supports both manual and automation testing for web-based tax applications. Review test estimates, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities. Review the Test Plans, Requirements Traceability Matrices, Test Cases, and Test Metrics. Lead and mentor junior team members. Follow QA processes and procedures throughout the testing life cycle. Review regression testing process. Review automation test scripts. Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices and processes to ensure quality goals are met. Responsible for conducting analysis of defects with development team, BA and other stakeholders, replicating issues for analysis and resolution. Requirements Bachelors (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) Five (5) years as Quality Assurance, Manager or related occupation gaining experience performing all stages of the Software Testing Life Cycle including knowledge transition, requirements gathering, designing, testing, implementation and post-implementation support. Experience must include five (5) years of:

drafting test plans and test scripts for system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), testing changes based on release scope, and ensuring performance requirements are met and applications are effective for users; supporting system testing and deploying integration artifacts to testing and production environments; testing web applications using HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, MVC, .Net, and SQL Server, and assisting with security and penetration testing; conducting gap and impact analyses to improve existing and planned applications and assessing if applications are properly aligned with business strategies; performing unit and functional testing and performing automation testing; performing data migration, including database testing using SQL; creating and maintaining test plans, requirements traceability matrices, test cases and test metrics; and mentoring and coaching junior team members, including providing technical guidance for quality assurance (QA) processes and procedures throughout the testing lifecycle.

Other Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week; Annual Salary: $152,443.00- $235,170.00 If offered employment, must have legal right to work in U.S. EOE, including disability/veterans.
