Summary:
Meta is looking for a leader to manage a global team of high performing, product and partner growth engineers. As a Partner Engineering Director in Meta Fintech, you will drive the company's Fintech efforts with Partners globally, leading and managing multiple teams of Partner Engineers. You will balance building a vision, creating a technical integration strategy with Partners, inspiring a large team of engineers, driving execution excellence with AI & automation, influencing cross-functional leadership, and people management. This role will allow you to apply technical problem-solving, create and execute business strategy, lead multiple teams of engineers spread across Americas, EMEA & APAC, and grow their careers.

Director, Partner Engineering - Fintech Responsibilities:
Building and leading a strong vision and strategy for how Meta Fintech platform integrates and scales with Partners
Work globally across different regions and product on going to market with Partners across company priorities
Lead and shape Fintech priorities across Partners in new areas like Agentic Commerce
Create new ways of working to drive execution with focus on automation and leveraging AI
Manage people and portfolios to truly advance technology in the most creative ways, in the most complex and dynamic environments
Scale teams by attracting and mentoring people at various levels of experience to grow a diverse and inclusive, high performing team
Manage team’s performance, including coaching for career growth, and create a healthy organization ensuring open communication
Provide leadership and direction on prioritization to the team, understand organizational health (engagement, retention, feedback) and effectively diagnose and solve complex issues spanning multiple teams to unblock execution
Ensure appropriate systems and processes are in place to support future team strategy and apply solutions to optimize across those systems
Create shared responsibilities across teams and hold the partners, leadership, and their teams accountable for execution
Identify relevant (product, team, organization) metrics or create new metrics, and reports trends and progress relative to goals
Influence, create, and drive strategies across organizations to innovate, take appropriate risks, and balance short, medium, and long-term needs
Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders internally across Meta to build alignment and execute on strategy
Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: 18+ years of software engineering experience
7+ years of experience managing software engineering teams
Experience building, shipping and integrating software products
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree or experience
Experience growing teams and designing organizations to maximize long-term impact
Experience understanding technology and business to recognize business opportunities and identify long-term technology trends
Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: Experience building innovative products and bringing them to market from scratch
Product management experience
Experience contributing to open source projects, shared code repositories, and/or personal projects
Client and partner-facing and/or experience communicating to an audience
Experience in FinTech, or building Enterprise Products
Public Compensation: $257,000/year to $328,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits Industry:
