The Handfinisher Technician of King Machine is responsible for the precise manual finishing, repair, and refurbishment of tire molds used in the production process. This role ensures that molds meet exact specifications and quality standards by performing detailed handwork, surface refinishing, and minor mechanical repairs.

*Experience in a manufacturing or production setting. * Strong mechanical aptitude. * Skilled in using fine abasives, polishing compounds, and contouring tools to achieve precise surface finishes. * Ability to operate machining equipment safely and accurately. * Capable of working well under pressure and meet deadlines. * Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. * Proficient in reading technical drawings, understanding mold contours, sipes, and vent locations. * Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

In accordance with established Work Instructions, follow the guidelines for Segment Venting, Sidewall Venting, Spring-vent/Micro- vent and Housings Installation, Match Ends, ID Stamp, Install TWI's, and Final Finish & Touchup Segments. * Inspect tire molds for wear, damage, or surface imperfections using precision measuring tools. * Perform handfinishing on tire molds using tools such as files, rotary grinders, polishing stones, and abrasives to restore its surfaces. * Repair defects such as pits, scratches, and flash lines to ensure proper mold performance. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of handfinishing workstations and tools. * Collaborate with personal to resolve any mold quality issues. * Document repairs and finishing work performed on each mold. * Read and interpret technical drawings to understand mold specifications. * Assist with training junior technicians as needed. * Adhere to ISO 9001, 45001, OSHA, and other applicable regulatory standards. * In accordance with established Quality Procedures, adhere to the guidelines for Control Documents, Control of Production, Monitoring & Measurement of Product, Corrective & Preventive Action, Risk Management, and Control of Nonconforming Product. Requirements: * A High School Diploma. * At least 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment. * Ability to identify mold wear of defects and suggest repair methods preferred. * Capable of operating machining equipment safely and accurately. * Experience with precision and measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges). * Familiarity with ISO 9001, 45001, OSHA, and other applicable regulatory standards.

Physical Requirements * Ability to work in an industrial environment, including exposure to noise, heat, fumes, and machinery. * Capable of working with small components and intricate parts for extended periods. * Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting (up to 60 lbs), bending, and manual agility. * Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by facility standards. * Must be able to pass a drug test.
