The Clinical Nursing Manager manages clinical nursing practices and patient care on the assigned unit(s). Responsibilities include managing human, fiscal, material, support, and systems resources, while achieving departmental goals through daily operations. The role demonstrates integrity, willingness to take on new challenges, and prioritizes staff engagement. It promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to staff and patients. The manager supports staff development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education. Schedule: Days, Monday - Friday. Ideal candidates will have both Cath Lab and management experience. Qualifications 3 years RN experience, required 1-year clinical leadership experience, required High School GED, required Degree in nursing (BSN or MSN), required Masters Degree, preferred Current RN License for the state of employment, required BLS through the American Heart Association Must obtain appropriate board certification within six months of hire or transfer; certification must be obtained within two years. Clinical and/or Leadership certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer. Credential: Nursing Specific- ANCC Approved Physical Requirements: Medium Work (exert up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, 10 lbs constantly). The Cardiac Cath Lab at St. Anthony Hospital is a four-room cardiovascular lab caring for patients requiring interventional and structural heart procedures like TAVR, MitraClip, Laser Lead Extraction, and more. Staff work collegially with medical providers, providing prep and recovery for inpatients and outpatients. The unit operates Monday through Friday with on-call support after hours and weekends. New technology offers ongoing learning opportunities.
