LMI is seeking a Junior Data Analyst responsible for quality delivery of reporting and analysis as part of a Strategic Workforce Analytics program for a U.S. Federal Government Agency. This position will work in a classified environment to produce analyses and visualizations for multiple clients within the department, agency, and federal government. The Data Analyst will collaborate with human resources SMEs, data engineers, and developers to query and structure data, develop metrics and visualizations, and deliver reports.

This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance; TS/SCI with polygraph preferred.
Responsibilities
Engage with technical and functional program SMEs, and key data stakeholders to understand business processes, analytical requirements, key data elements, data protection guidelines, interpret analytic results, etc.
Implement research or analysis plans as specified.
Provide regular detailed reports to management and customers.
Collaborate proactively with internal and external teams.
Define and develop techniques to integrate, consolidate, and structure data for analysis.
Analyze complex and organization-specific datasets.
Transform data and analysis into visualizations and dashboards using open-source and commercial tools.
Create briefing materials to communicate complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
Advise on the interpretation and use of data analysis products and reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, mathematics, computer science, economics, human resources, or related field.
Experience developing dashboards using Tableau or similar tools.
Experience with programming languages like Python or R.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with business and technical teams.
Active TS/SCI clearance; TS/SCI with polygraph preferred.
Ability to work in a team environment and travel to client sites.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
Customer relationship management skills.
Interest in gaining skills in strategy development, talent management, data analysis, visualization, etc., including obtaining relevant certifications.
Experience in management consulting and project management tools/methods is a plus.
Innovative problem-solving ability and organizational effectiveness at all levels.
