Software Engineering Manager
to lead a high-performing, agile engineering team building products that scale to millions of users. You’ll play a pivotal role in both hands-on development and strategic leadership, helping deliver scalable SaaS solutions across e-commerce, logistics, IoT, and AI. This is a highly technical position where you’ll code ~50% of the time while guiding product strategy, process improvement, and team growth. What You’ll Do: Own and deliver technical features from idea to production in an agile environment Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to scope work, drive priorities, and unblock teams Lead and mentor engineers while maintaining a strong, collaborative team culture Contribute hands-on code across a Python/Django stack in a cloud-native architecture Deeply understand platform architecture including e-commerce, warehouse ops, auth/payments, and integrations Support DevOps and SRE best practices in a CI/CD environment What We’re Looking For: 4+ years of hands-on software development with recent experience across the full stack 3+ years of professional Python and Django experience 1+ years leading engineers (team lead or higher) in a SaaS environment Strong foundation in Git workflows, CI tools (e.g., CircleCI, Codeship), and cloud platforms (AWS, Docker, Redis, etc.) Familiarity with SRE tools (PagerDuty, Statuspage, monitoring tools) Degree in Computer Science or related field—or equivalent real-world experience Passion for learning, teaching, and collaborating Bonus Points For: Experience launching and iterating on revenue-generating SaaS products Prior experience managing engineers or growing a new engineering function from scratch Background in high-scale logistics, fulfillment, or IoT-based systems Why Join?
