Radiology Technician - Orthopedic

Pay From: $38 per hour
MUST:
1+ years of experience working as a Radiology Technician
Experience working in the orthopedic field
Rooming patients and setting up for procedures
Documenting and updating patient information in EMR
Flexible to work in other sites as required including Ellicott City and Westminster
ARRT Certification required
Radiology Tech in the state of Maryland
BLS thru AHA
HS Diploma or GED required
DUTIES:
Prepare patients for orthopedic radiology procedures
Operate radiology equipment to make clinical diagnostic x-ray images for orthopedics
Prepare injections
Assist physicians in diagnostic procedures
Document patient concerns, patient messages, and care provided to the patient in the patient's medical record for the physician's review
Sterilize and package surgical instruments
Assist with inventory, ordering of supplies and re-stocking of supplies
Administer medications specifically directed by the physician and performing accurate vital sign measurements and documentation
Apply, and removes casts, splints braces, and adjust and remove orthopedic devices
Applies mobilization and immobilization devices
Review specific procedure orders to determine materials/supplies that will be needed
Set up and stocks procedure rooms and trays with needed
