N/A Job Description: STC has an opening with the NOAA NESDIS Center for Satellite Applications and Research (STAR). STC is seeking a Junior Scientific Programmer/Data Scientist to join our growing team of innovative researchers and technical professionals. In this role, you will work closely with STAR scientists to develop and apply AI/ML models for weather and environmental applications using satellite observations. Responsibilities include preparing training datasets, building and validating models, and deploying solutions to operational environments. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of AI-driven environmental intelligence. Paid Time Off Starting at 80 hrs/yr, 11 Federal holidays, and 56 hrs/yr Sick Leave 401K with up to 4% employer matching contribution Flexible spending account Health savings account Job Requirements
