What You’ll Do: We are seeking a SeniorFinance Manager, FP&Ato support Kailera’s financial planning and analysis activities. This role will work closely with the Head of FP&A and cross-functional teams to provide a decision making advantage to leadership while also delivering accurate financial forecasts, insightful analyses, and scalable reporting processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Preferred location: Waltham, MA (onsite or hybrid 2-3 days per week). Responsibilities: Support the development and execution of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning processes Partner with key business leaders to understand business drivers and provide financial insights that support strategic and operational decision-making Prepare and analyze monthly budget vs. actual reports, identifying key variances and trends as well as maintaining track of opportunities and risks to the financial plan Maintain and enhance financial models to support scenario planning, headcount tracking, and program-level forecasting Assist in the preparation of materials for executive leadership, board meetings, and investor presentations Collaborate with the Accounting team during month-end close to ensure accurate accruals and financial reporting Contribute to the development of scalable FP&A processes, tools, and systems (e.g., Oracle PBCS, NetSuite) Support ad hoc financial analyses, including business development opportunities, vendor negotiations, and cost optimization initiatives Required Qualifications: 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, preferably in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across functions Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Oracle PBCS, NetSuite) preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a willingness to “roll up your sleeves” Preferred Qualifications: Biotech experience preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA a plus Benefits of Working at Kailera In addition to traditional benefits, we provide enhanced offerings designed to support the well-being and financial security of our team members and their families. We share the pay range for this particular role with the actual base salary depending upon factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, market factors, and experience.
