Amazon is seeking a Finance Manager to support a critical pillar of Amazon Connect within Core Communication Services (voice, telephony, chat, emails, etc.). The leader in this role will partner with the service GM to provide data-driven analysis, strategic decision support, financial planning, and cost management. Key job responsibilities

Serve as the CFO of Customer Data and Insight Services, providing strategic and financial guidance and partnering with senior leadership. Manage all short- and long-term financial objectives, support leadership with key financial insights and operational analytics, and foster a culture of accountability. Drive the development of challenging goals, business strategies, and financial plans in collaboration with the Customer Data Insight Organization's leadership. Lead planning and analysis activities, including monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reviews. Perform ad-hoc analyses as needed and present findings to senior management. A day in the life

Collaborate with business and GTM partners to monitor growth, evaluate financial impacts of new sales strategies and feature launches, and support strategic decisions. Lead the preparation and presentation of Weekly Business Reviews (WBR)/Monthly Financial Reviews (MFR) call-outs and customer insights with the Service GM. Monitor business performance on top-line and bottom-line metrics, draft MFRs, and lead financial reviews with leadership. About the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a quantitative role. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

6+ years experience in data analysis, root cause identification, and escalation planning. 6+ years delivering impactful financial models, analyses, and recommendations. MBA or CPA credentials. Experience with large-scale data tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards). Proficiency in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation. Knowledge of SQL/ETL processes. Extensive experience applying financial KPIs, building reports, and process automation. Participation in continuous improvement projects to enhance controllership with measurable results.
