Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Structural Analysis team. This role involves overseeing structural analysis activities for our Precision Guidance Technologies and munitions programs. It is a working manager position, with approximately 75% of time spent performing structural analysis and 25% in leadership duties such as guiding, mentoring, staffing, recruiting, conducting team meetings, and performance reviews.

Essential Functions
Manage, develop, and evaluate systems, including creating new projects.
Apply engineering techniques within the engineering function.

Communicate with senior leadership on strategic issues, including status briefings.
Collaborate with third-party resources and other departments to resolve operational issues.
Additional Responsibilities
Generate FEA for various analyses to predict and improve structural responses.
Develop structural concepts and perform preliminary sizing using classical mechanics and FEA.
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree with 8-10 years of experience.
Engineering degree required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience with Abaqus or Ansys LS-DYNA; HPC batch FEA in Linux environment.
Physical Requirements
Remain at a desk or computer for extended periods.
Regular movement within facilities.
Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment.
Travel Requirements
Less than 25% travel expected.

Pay Range (USD): $110,849.00 - $205,862.00
