The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiation safety, imaging protocols, and patient care in a nuclear medicine setting.Job Responsibilities Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for imaging and therapeutic procedures.Operate gamma cameras, PET scanners, and other specialized equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.Monitor patients during procedures and provide supportive care as needed.Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and the public.Maintain accurate documentation of administered doses, procedures performed, and patient responses.Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials according to regulatory guidelines.Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to interpret and deliver timely results. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required.Minimum 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine preferred.Comprehensive knowledge of radiation physics, safety, and imaging techniques.Strong communication, technical, and patient-care skills.Proficiency with imaging systems, PACS, and electronic medical records.
