Job Summary:
The Traveling Orthodontics Treatment Coordinator plays a key role in enhancing the patient experience and managing patient flow. This position is responsible for explaining treatment plans, emphasizing their importance to overall health, and discussing financial options to ensure patient commitment. This position requires travel to our Douglasville practice. Communicates recommended treatment plans to patients and promotes the qualities of your doctor. Listens to patient concerns and provides practical solutions. Offers feedback to improve financial and patient care outcomes. Works to obtain patient commitment to financial arrangements. Guides patients through office procedures to facilitate follow-up appointments. Maintains compliance with all relevant regulations (OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, and company policies). Performs other duties as assigned by the manager. Qualifications & Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in a dental office setting. Must be willing to travel. Familiarity with dental terminology and treatment options. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Medical Sales, or related fields. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare practice management systems. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Ability to interpret insurance plans and financial data. Proven ability to develop productive professional relationships. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and interpersonal. Exceptional patient service skills and positive communication history.
