Enterprise - Software Engineer - APIs, Agile, Microservices We are seeking engineers who wish to grow their careers and want to become part of a technically strong and growth-oriented company focused on bringing innovative solutions to the difficult mission problems facing our customers. Design, develop, and implement complex software capabilities for computer-based systems. Collaborate with other engineers to create software solutions that meet client needs using modern tools and technologies. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field and contribute to a dynamic, collaborative team focused on delivering high-quality software solutions. Qualifications
At least five (5) years of experience in Software Engineering, Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g. Spring, Guava) and a Bachelor’s in a related field; three (3) years of relevant experience with a Master’s in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent and nine (9) years of relevant experience. Experience in designing enterprise APIs Experience in RESTful web services Experience in Microservices architecture Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms Experience with the agile software lifecycle Proven ability to learn quickly and work well independently or in a team Experience with the Linux operating system Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Git, Nexus, Maven) Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, spending an average of 1-2 days per week at our Columbia, MD office. Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes as needed. Clearance
A current Secret level security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position. Required Skills

DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II compliance certifications may be required in this position as directed by the customer Experience in cloud based technologies (AWS, Azure) Experience in distributed databases, NoSQL databases, full text-search engines (e.g. Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Solr) Scripting experience is a huge plus Prior experience or familiarity with our Big Data Platform is a plus Understanding of AGILE software development methodologies and use of standard software development tool suites (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Github Enterprise) Benefits
Erias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $150,000 - $275,000. Wealth Benefits
