Position Overview The
DevOps Manager
will oversee the implementation of DevOps practices, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and stakeholder requirements. This role involves designing software architecture, defining system roadmaps, and leading architectural governance to support future iterations and scalability. The manager refines system requirements, addresses constraints, and maintains architectural integrity throughout the project lifecycle while driving quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Develop software reference architecture and roadmap for native, web and cloud applications.
Create detailed technical solutions and overall strategy for software implementation.
Lead system/platform architecture roadmap definition and planning.
Inform design evolution during exploration and prototype stages.
Capture and optimize architecture to meet current and future stakeholder needs.
Collaborate with technical teams to refine key system requirements early on.
Identify and address key constraints with design and development teams.
Maintain architecture through development, qualification and commercialization of the project.
Lead technical integration topics across engineering disciplines.
Participate in technical reviews at design and integration milestones.
Assess issues across the systems platform and develop resolutions for productivity, quality and client satisfaction.
Support company initiatives and comply with FDA and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related field.
8+ years of relevant experience, or master’s degree with 6+ years of experience.
Deep understanding of architecture principles, patterns and blueprints.
Strong knowledge of data architecture and design for enterprise and cloud solutions.
Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Bitbucket Pipelines.
Experience with deployment support tools and processes.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices, including cryptography.
Experience in application security and system safety.
Knowledge of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) principles.
Experience implementing cloud-based solutions or components.
Strong documentation skills for architectural and design decisions.
Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
Demonstrated business acumen and effective collaboration with peers and leadership.
Proven team leadership and mentorship capabilities.
Compensation Base salary range: $97,300.00 – $194,700.00. Pay may vary by specific location.
