What We're Doing
Our Team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Regional team, is constantly engineering, developing and integrating new capabilities for the U.S. Missile Defense System. Protecting both the United States and its allies, this large, fast?paced team is composed of many small agile teams working together in a dynamic environment with a common mission to develop and deploy leading?edge missile defense technologies. The Work Design and develop new Java applications; maintain existing Java applications Support software testing and resolution of issues from multiple baselines Generate software design artifacts and support design and code reviews
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience and combined education 5 years of professional experience Currently hold an ACTIVE DoD Final Secret Security Clearance Experience in full life?cycle software development of Java?based applications in a UNIX/Linux platform environment Experience developing software in a structured, process?based integrated team environment Experience utilizing configuration management tools in the development of software (e.g., Git/Gitlab/etc.) Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts such as system requirements, use cases, and SysML diagrams
Desired Skills
Security+ or equivalent certification required within 60 days of starting Experience resolving cyber/security issues identified by Fortify/SonarQube/etc. Experience using Eclipse to develop software applications Experience using Maven or Gradle Experience using automated unit testing frameworks Experience with performance modeling Experience developing microservices

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Benefits
