Security Architect - AI Governance
for a large technology company located in Raleigh, NC. The
Security Architect - AI Governance
will lead the design and implementation of secure, ethical, and compliant AI systems across our organization. This is a long‑term contract opportunity and is able to sit remote in the Eastern Time Zone.
Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate security risks specific to AI/ML systems, including model poisoning, data leakage, adversarial attacks, and misuse.
Develop threat models for AI pipelines and recommend mitigation strategies.
Design and implement AI governance policies aligned with global regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001).
Architect secure infrastructure for AI/ML systems, including data ingestion, model training, deployment, and monitoring.
Establish monitoring mechanisms for AI model behavior, drift, and anomalies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
7+ years of experience in security architecture, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML systems.
Deep understanding of AI/ML lifecycle, data governance, and model security.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and ethical considerations in AI.
Experience with cloud‑native AI platforms (e.g., Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI).
Compensation
$60.00- $85.00/ hour
