Candidates will support a broad range of patent-related tasks: Drafting and prosecution, client counseling, and litigation support.
Qualifications & Candidate Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field in the mechanical arts
Prior experience in patent prosecution is required
USPTO registration number
Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to evaluate complex inventions and convey their value in written and oral form
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and prosecute U.S. patent applications
Evaluate the technical merits of inventions and draft related opinions
Support litigation and patentability analysis
Counsel clients on IP strategy and portfolio development
Collaborate with inventors and legal teams to define and protect IP assets
