Responsibilities
Lead technical efforts and directly contribute to delivering product goals by developing new applications and feature enhancements using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Jenkins, OpenShift, and other tools.
Maintain and secure systems, ensuring they are current, compliant, and stable. Support both vendor‑supplied and internally developed custom software.
Serve as a technical subject‑matter expert for key systems, providing routine and ad‑hoc research and discovery.
Continuously improve products, team operating cadences, and run‑state operations—including logging, monitoring, alerting, metrics, level‑2 support, and knowledge documentation for scalability.
Collaborate with other technical teams to manage dependencies and foster cross‑team collaboration.
Promote urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles.
Inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high performance standards in alignment with our product, agile, and DevOps directions.
Act as an all‑round technical utility player.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience delivering business and technical solutions with technology teams.
5+ years of experience using container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, continuous integration, container‑based applications, and cloud deployment architectures.
Proficiency with Linux (RHEL), Windows Server, Apache, IIS, Tomcat, and SQL Server.
Strong skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python or Perl for automation and system management, as well as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana or ELK Stack for monitoring, Ansible, Puppet, Chef or SaltStack for configuration management, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Expertise with REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, API management (preferably Apigee).
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and building cloud‑hosted applications.
Excellent analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Willingness to learn detailed software solutions and to build credibility with leadership and business partners.
Experience in the asset finance industry (leasing, lending) and related systems (Rapport, InfoLease, Stucky).
Experience with scaled agile frameworks.
Company & Compensation Salary range: $77,000.00 – $154,000.00. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, location, and performance. Eligibility for incentive compensation plans and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, wellness programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings, paid leave, holidays, and PTO.
