Principal Storage Engineer III
Edgewater Federal Solutions is currently seeking a Principal Storage Engineer III. In this Storage Administration role, you will be responsible for design, deployment, testing, certification, patching, and addressing interoperability issues of the base storage system and all related features, components, and application dependencies—including Storage Area Network (SAN), Network Attached Storage (NAS), local disk, Fiber Channel, iSCSI, and more.
This position requires an active Top Secret clearance. We are hiring in Pocatello, Idaho, Clarksburg, WV, or Huntsville, AL.
WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING AGENCY, 1099, OR C2C INQUIRIES. ONLY CANDIDATES WITH A TS CLEARANCE WILL BE CONSIDERED.
Responsibilities
Design, deploy, test, certify, patch, and address interoperability issues for storage systems and their dependencies.
Qualifications
8‑10+ years of storage‑related experience.
Must have an active Top‑Secret clearance and be willing to sit for a polygraph once hired.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Experience managing and maintaining mainframe storage systems using the FICON (Fiber Channel Connection) protocol is highly preferred.
Base Pay Range $135,000 – $150,000 per year.
