Research and implement methods to enhance the security of Linux builds within a secure build environment and integrate these improvements with existing automation workflows to ensure seamless and robust deployment processes. Responsibilities
Develop and implement enhancements to the existing secure build process. Integrate the enhancements with current automation tools and pipelines. Collaborate with team members to document processes and share findings. Essential Skills
Foundational knowledge of Linux operating systems, including command-line proficiency, file systems, and basic administration tasks. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or similar. Basic knowledge of security principles, including secure coding practices, authentication, and access controls. Exposure to automation and CI/CD pipelines, with experience in tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions. Experience with Docker or container technologies. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous coursework or project experience related to cybersecurity or DevOps. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $46.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
