Assignment Details

Job Type: Travel Nursing

Location: O'Fallon, Illinois (62269) – Greater St. Louis Area

Unit: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) – Gen/Main

Start Date: October 27, 2025

End Date: January 25, 2026

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 10‑hour day shifts (9:00 AM – 7:30 PM) with call

Call Schedule: One call shift per week (Monday–Friday, 2 nurses on), plus one 24‑hour call shift every third weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,100 – $2,250

Qualifications

Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be in hand at time of submission)

Minimum 1 year of recent PACU nursing experience required

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

CCRN certification preferred

Ability to participate in scheduled call rotation

Travel nurses must reside at least 50 miles from O'Fallon, IL

Responsibilities

Deliver high‑quality post‑anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures

Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions

Educate patients and families on post‑operative care and recovery processes

Participate in call rotation as scheduled

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
