Salary Range:
$100,000-$150,000 Role Description
FifthColor is hiring an Accounting Manager who’s ready to take ownership of our day-to-day financial operations while helping shape the bigger picture. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on both precision and strategy: someone who can dive into the numbers, make sense of the story they tell, and help guide our financial direction. You’ll be working independently, but never in isolation. This role partners closely with our leadership team including our CEO, COO, and CFO—to align financial insights with business goals. Your voice will be heard, your expertise valued, and your impact felt across the organization. Key Responsibilities
Daily & monthly operations Manage daily accounting operations: journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations Own AP/AR processes Process internal purchase orders and manage order flow Monitor departmental budgets and partner with leaders to ensure alignment Assist in company-wide budgeting Own the monthly close and deliver timely financial reports Analyze trends, spot performance gaps, and make cost-saving recommendations Support quarterly financial reviews with data-driven insights Systems & oversight Use QuickBooks for core accounting and ADP Workforce Now for payroll integration Collaborate with external accounting partners as needed Oversee purchasing processes and maintain discipline in financial controls Prepare occasional reports for banks, auditors, or external stakeholders Evaluate needs, prove ROI, and make a case for hiring additional resources What You Bring
5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in an agency or high-growth environment Deep knowledge of accrual accounting, forecasting, and budget management Hands‑on experience in QuickBooks and ADP Workforce Now (or similar systems) Excellent communication and collaboration across departments Strong problem‑solving skills and process orientation Bonus: experience in procurement, purchasing, or vendor management Why Join FifthColor?
