Our client is a GC in Tampa who specialize in delivering high-quality multifamily projects across Florida are seeking a strong Senior Project Manager who can take a lead role within the business unit and manage multiple deals that will be breaking ground in 2026.

Responsibilities:

Project Oversight: Serve as the primary liaison between the owner and various stakeholders including architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

Budget Management: Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints, providing regular reports and recommendations to the owner.

Schedule Coordination: Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking milestones and deadlines to ensure timely completion of construction activities.

Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to uphold project standards and specifications, conducting site inspections and addressing any deviations from plans.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.

Contract Administration: Review and negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring terms align with project goals and objectives.

Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication among project team members, resolving conflicts and promoting collaboration to achieve project success.

Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, correspondence, and change orders, to support project transparency and accountability.

Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders at all levels to address concerns, provide updates, and foster positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues that arise during construction, applying strategic thinking and resourcefulness to keep the project on track.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.

Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and best practices.

Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.

Candidates MUST have experience working for a leading Florida based GC or multifamily developer/builder.
