Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer with expertise in both frontend and backend technologies to join our Structured Debt Client Platform team.
This role is located in New York, NY.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for frontend applications using Angular, NodeJS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
Implement backend API testing using industry‑standard tools and frameworks such as JMeter, Selenium (Webdriver), Jasmine and Cucumber.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
Demonstrate proficiency in Python, C or Java for backend automation and scripting tasks.
Apply Test‑Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD) methodologies to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Leverage tools like Veracode and SonarQube to conduct security assessments and ensure code quality standards are met.
Utilize Serenity and Playwright for end‑to‑end testing of Angular 16 applications, maintaining high‑quality test suites.
Use Oracle databases to validate data integrity in testing scenarios.
Work with AWS Code Services to streamline code deployment and collaborate with AWS infrastructure teams.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices, bringing new ideas to the testing process.
Communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams to ensure shared understanding of testing requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
3–5 years of QA Automation experience.
Strong programming skills in Python, C or Java, JavaScript and TypeScript.
Experience with JMeter, Selenium, Jasmine, and Cucumber.
Knowledge of MBS (Mortgage‑Based Securities) preferred.
Familiarity with Veracode and SonarQube for code security and quality assessments.
Experience with Serenity and Playwright for end‑to‑end testing of Angular applications.
Experience with AWS Code Services and Spring Boot a plus.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
