Job Summary The

Interconnection and Transmission Manager

will manage Repsol Renewables NA’s (RRNA) RTO/ISO membership requirements, participate in stakeholder proceedings to keep the company informed on key initiatives that impact interconnection or transmission access and manage the Company’s generator interconnection positions. This includes serving as the primary contact for the Company’s generator interconnection positions to ensure filing deadlines and other requirements are met in an efficient and timely manner. This position will report to the VP of Regulatory Affairs and Transmission.

Responsibilities

This position will identify and participate in key stakeholder proceedings that impact the Company’s interests.

Manage the Company’s membership applications and obligations for ISO/RTOs.

Coordinate generator interconnection application submittals. Assist and interact with third party consultants as required to complete generator interconnection applications.

Coordinate efforts to move the Company’s projects through the generator interconnection study process, communicating the schedule, budgetary and milestone requirements to project leads. Maintain a calendar that includes study cluster timeframes, application fees and study deposits required for generator interconnection applications.

Maintain a detailed log of the Company’s generator interconnection requests including the progress of each request as it moves through the study process, deposits and application fees incurred.

Establish procedures to ensure project milestones and required tasks are communicated to the appropriate RRNA project team members in a timely manner.

Support RRNA’s development and accounting team to track project payments and deposits to ensure costs are being allocated properly, and payments and refunds are sent and received in a timely manner.

Perform other job-related duties as required.

Requirements

Working knowledge of Power Flow (Power World, PSSE) used to complete generator interconnection applications and review study results.

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products.

Excellent balance of technical, organizational and management skills.

Acute attention to accuracy and detail in all aspects of responsibilities.

Professional presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Comfort working in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred or equivalent education and/or professional experience.

3–5 years of professional experience concurrently coordinating and managing multiple projects across various company departments.

Experience in the electric industry working with ISOs/RTOs/Transmission Service Providers, NERC and FERC highly preferred.
