Location: Miami, FL or Warren, NJ.

Responsibilities

Conduct financial crime compliance investigations on high‑risk customers.

Perform enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews of existing customer accounts.

Carry out periodic activity assessments to identify unusual or suspicious patterns.

Manage escalations and inquiries within the AML function.

Evaluate customer information, assess risk factors, and provide clear, documented findings to AML Officers.

Support the AML program by ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Handle AML escalations.

Qualifications

2‑5 years of direct experience in an AML Financial Crime Compliance Department within Financial Services (Private Banking, Broker‑Dealer, or Wholesale/Investment Banking).

Proven track record conducting financial crime investigations, enhanced due diligence, and activity reviews.

Experience performing customer activity reviews and contributing to AML projects and enhancements.

Strong written assessment of findings and excellent communication skills.

Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and work across a multi‑site matrix environment.

Experience with investigation tools such as LexisNexis, Dow Jones/Factiva, or similar systems.

CAMS certification or willingness to obtain it within 18 months.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Permanent, full‑time, hybrid. Hiring salary range $70,000‑$95,000 (subject to experience, skills, and market data). This role may be eligible for an incentive compensation plan and is offered with a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
