A Day in the Life
Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
Plans and administers procedures and budgets.
Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.
Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.
Management Skills: Management of Financial and Material Resources, Critical Thinking, Project Management, Management of Personnel Resources, Collaboration and Productivity Software, Effective Communication Skills.
Functional Skills: Machining and Manufacturing Technologies, Proficient computer skills, Data Science and Analysis, Lean Manufacturing and continued improvement, Managing Quality.
Apply MPS tools and principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity within the team or department.
Leverage tier management processes to effectively prioritize key tasks and initiatives, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of critical issues.
Provide guidance and support to team members on Employee Relations (ER) and Human Resources (HR) matters, fostering a positive and compliant work environment.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Minimum 1 year of experience in a production environment
Nice to Have
Previous work experience managing a production team in a manufacturing or production environment
Previous experience working in a regulated industry such as medical device, aerospace, or automotive
Previous experience managing diverse, tenured teams
Strong emotional intelligence skills
Cross‑functional leadership experience
Change management and continuous improvement mindset
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
Ability to quickly learn new processes and technologies
Conflict resolution and HR partnership experience
Process creation and optimization skills

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$71,200.00 - $106,800.00
This position is eligible for a short‑term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).
