Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician (OB/GYN)
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician (MD or DO) to join our women’s health team in Lakeland or Mulberry, FL. This position provides both inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN services, including preventive care, health maintenance, acute and chronic disease management, labor and delivery, surgical procedures, and consultative services.
The OB/GYN will also serve as a clinical leader, supporting Advanced Practice Providers, nurses, and medical students, while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. This opportunity offers a competitive compensation package, student loan repayment support, and robust benefits.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation:
Up to $250,000 per year based on experience
NHSC:
Up to $75,000 for a 2-year commitment, plus $20,000 for each additional year until loan is paid in full for Student Loan Forgiveness
PSLF:
Forgiveness after 120 qualifying monthly payments (10 years)
Relocation Assistance:
$1,000 (in-state) | $3,000 (out-of-state)

Voluntary short-term disability, additional life, and dependent life insurance options
Malpractice insurance fully covered
4.4 weeks PTO annually

Minimum Qualifications
Residency-trained physician in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Clear and active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain before start date)
Valid DEA Certificate
BLS Certification (ACLS preferred)
Eligible for malpractice insurability
Medical staff privileges at appropriate hospital
Computer literacy and EHR proficiency
Bilingual English and Spanish Preferred
Key Responsibilities
Preventive and routine women’s health
Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic gynecologic conditions
Prenatal, labor, and postpartum care
Gynecologic and obstetric surgeries using sterile techniques and CDC guidelines
Serve as a consultant to clinical staff and collaborate with outside specialists as needed
Adhere to evidence-based care pathways, quality measures, and compliance standards
Complete timely documentation: encounter tickets, progress notes, SOAP notes, and hospital records
Review diagnostic reports (labs, imaging, EKGs) and ensure appropriate follow-up
Provide accurate coding and billing aligned with care documented
Participate in outreach programs, community health initiatives, and represent the practice in local events
Precept medical students as assigned
Provide guidance and oversight to ARNPs/PA-Cs under established protocols
Support recruitment of physicians and clinical staff when needed
Participate in peer review, provider meetings, and quality improvement activities
Rotate to other centers as needed for coverage
Participate in shared Saturday clinic or off-hours call coverage
Provide leadership and mentorship to clinical support staff, fostering a professional team environment
