Responsibilities Provide engineering and geological guidance and well bore steering for horizontal wells. This position will require working with geologists, mud loggers, reservoir engineers, and drilling engineers to ensure the correct well bore path is obtained. The candidate will provide analysis for project decision‑making based on sound technical review.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, or Geophysics, with 1-2 years engineering or geological experience in an oilfield‑related position is preferred. Experience or knowledge in planning of wells, drilling rig operations, geo‑steering techniques, and mud logging practices are considered a plus.
