Job Summary Under the direct supervision of the GU Clinical Research Program Manager or the Principal Investigator, the coordinator will monitor the clinical course and collect research data for patients enrolled in research protocols at Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center and participating sites. This intermediate‑level position manages clinical trials and registry databases within the GU Oncology Program.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date clinical research data for complex trials.
Prepare and submit regulatory documentation, including annual renewal requests, amendments, and sponsor‑specific information.
Assist the Principal Investigator and Program Manager in defining study plans and designing protocol‑specific case report forms.
Meet regularly with PI, Research Nurse, and Program Manager to review regulatory accuracy and study progress.
Participate in monitoring visits and audits; correct errors and write audit responses.
Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practices, ICH Guidelines, and SKCCC policies.
Assist with study budgeting and invoice preparation as needed.
Coordinate the implementation of new trials from IRB approval through study activation and collect regulatory documentation for sponsor‑initiated studies.
Track protocol amendments through IRB/subcommittee approval, revise RedCap databases, and update manuals.
Review regulatory binders and maintain central regulatory files, including licenses and delegation logs.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
Minimum of three years of related experience.
Additional education may substitute for experience or education, subject to JHU equivalency formula.
