Dermatology Advanced Practice Practitioner
Dermatology & Aesthetic Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Join our elite Dermatology & Aesthetic Team at Sanctuary Medical — Work alongside Dr. Kathleen Herne, nationally recognized dermatologist and leader in medical and cosmetic dermatology.
Sanctuary Medical Aesthetic Center is renowned for its comprehensive approach to skin health, offering a wide array of services from medical dermatology to advanced aesthetic treatments. Our providers are at the forefront of dermatologic care, utilizing state‑of‑the‑art technology and innovative techniques to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive dermatologic evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and skin cancer.
Perform and assist in dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and laser treatments.
Administer cosmetic procedures, including neurotoxins (e.g., BOTOX®, Dysport®) and dermal fillers (e.g., JUVÉDERM®, Restylane®), based on experience and training.
Educate patients on treatment options, post-procedure care, and preventive skin health practices.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and aestheticians to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Florida.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in dermatology; aesthetic experience is a plus.
Proficiency in diagnosing and managing a broad range of dermatologic conditions.
Experience with or willingness to learn cosmetic procedures, including injectables and laser treatments.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
