Role Overview We’re looking for an Events Manager to take the lead on HID’s North and Latin America trade shows and events-driving every stage from planning and budgeting to execution and follow‑up. In this role, you will partner with regional leaders, marketing, and sales teams to deliver impactful, on‑brand experiences that strengthen HID’s global presence. You’ll manage sponsorships, vendors, and creative assets while ensuring flawless coordination across teams and regions. This position is ideal for someone fluent in Spanish, skilled in corporate event management, and ready to bring energy, organization, and creativity to every project.

Responsibilities
Managing NAM / LAM trade show and event schedule including booking, site selection, attendee coordination, evaluation, budgeting, lead generation and asset management for assigned events.
Working with regional leadership, product subject matter experts, exhibit houses to produce displays and signage in line with messaging and overseeing implementation.
Developing and managing event‑related sponsorships and campaigns for optimal brand exposure at appropriate spending levels, coordinating with global marcom team and sales for relevant and timely programs.
Working with Marketing Communication Managers to integrate events into multi‑touch campaign plans.
Overseeing lead management and coordinating with sales and marketing peers for lead follow‑up.
Working closely with extended teams to ensure portfolio is appropriately represented in sync with go‑to‑market plans and events.
Coordinating with peers in other regions to leverage event assets created in‑region for EMEA, Americas, APAC and other LAM events (may include digital assets, videos, display graphics, etc.).
Managing event related vendors and acting as project lead for new booth creative, kiosk displays, interactive demos, etc.
Using online tools to initiate and track projects, secure printed collateral and implementing and distributing communications.
Exercising a customer‑centric mindset in working with both HID colleagues and external customers.
Upholding consistent HID branding in accordance with guidelines.
Experience & Background
BA or BS preferred plus minimum 3+ years of direct relevant experience in trade show management and event planning.
Ability to effectively communicate in English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
Must be fluent in Spanish to effectively coordinate and engage with Latin America stakeholders.
Must have corporate trade show experience.
Ability to multi‑task and work within strict deadlines and budget, adept at working autonomously in a sometimes chaotic or stressful environment.
Ability to resolve problems without delay and/or seek managerial intervention.
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
