Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our Accounting team as an Accounting Associate. The Accounting Associate will perform a variety of general accounting support tasks in the Accounting Department.
This position is on‑site at our Revco Cerritos, CA 90703 location.
Responsibilities
Review daily invoices to ensure accuracy and distribute to customers via mail, email, EDI, or an online portal.
Accurately enter vendor invoices, verify vendor information, gather back‑up documentation for reconciliation, and assist with check issuance.
Scan and electronically file all accounts payable and accounts receivable documentation.
Enter purchase order receipts.
Process customer returns in the ERP.
Check trade references for new customers and respond to credit inquiries.
Update the SAMPLE Excel file.
Accurately process daily cash receipts.
Answer accounting calls.
Support various projects and tasks as needed.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
2 or more years of accounting experience, with knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
Strong data entry skills.
Must be highly detailed and organized, with the ability to spot issues quickly and resolve them in a timely manner.
Must be able to prioritize and work under deadlines.
Excellent communication and time‑management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Revco California salary range: $22 – $27 per hour based on experience, education, and geographic location.
