What Are We Looking For? Novant Health Urgent Care is currently looking for a Physician, Physician Assistant or a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our growing urgent care family. The provider works with the support of our teams of patient services representatives, nurses, medical assistants, and x‑ray techs to serve our diverse populations ages 6 months and above.
Do You Have What It Takes? A Good Candidate Will Bring With Them
Physician: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy Degree with Board Certification (Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Dual Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Board Certifications)
APP: Master's degree in either Nurse Practitioner (with Family Nurse Practitioner specialty), or Physician Assistant
Active SC licensure
Active DEA and SC Controlled Substance
DOT Certification
2 or more years of experience working in either family practice or urgent care setting
Willing to work 12 hour shifts and weekends
Willing to work at other centers as needed
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to reflect our mission, vision, and values through actions and conduct.
An Ideal Candidate Would Also Have
5 or more years of urgent care experience as a Physician, FNP or PA
